No anecdotes to share (yet) since the show just opened, so we thought we'd share some photos of our booth (during set-up) at this year's "Seasons of the Heart" Craft Faire at the Del Mart Fairgrounds! Over 100 crafters have gathered in the "Activity Center" inside the Fairgrounds to bring you an AMAZING array of handmade gifts. You can find "Mostly Monsters" in the center aisle, roughly 1/3 of the way down from the entrance in a corner booth (Booth # 69?), next to our dear friend Blenda, around the corner from Darlene Brown's "Gingerbread Dreams 4 U" AND the Food Concessions. This show is ALL INDOORS, so it's a wonderful place to visit, no matter the weather. Admission is FREE, although the Fairgrounds does charge for parking, so we encourage you to carpool with friends! Visa & MasterCard are both accepted at checkout. As a "Boutique" style-show, you won't need to pay at each booth...just gather your favorite items and check-out once! Show is open Friday, November 8 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday, November 9 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday, November 1 from 10:009 AM to 4:00 PM Want more info? Whoopsie! Realized we never followed up on the Seasons of the Heart show! Been so busy making new stuff and listing Zombie Babies, we kind of forgot.( oops.) Just to let you know, this show was CRAAAAAAZY busy, and oh so awesome! Over 100 vendors. and the line never stopped, even though there were 10 cash registers running continuously! It was awesome to see so many of our friends and fellow crafters, although it was SOOOO busy we didn't usually get a chance to chat (Both of us got pulled to wrap desk duty the whole time we were there!). Only downside was the weather this year was sunny and warm...sounds like such a hardship, right? But for us, it seriously effects our sales or FUZZY HATS! Who knew November would have Santa Anas and sunshine? Last year's show was cold, cold, cold (okay, cold for San Diego!) so folks were fighting over the Monster hats. Just means that next year, we either do a rain dance, or make sure we have tons of OTHER stuff to choose from, right? Okay...now on to the next show!
